With just three months remaining until the Carmen and Sal Fair 2026, the San Fernando City Council is intensifying its preparations. After ruling out a return to the La Magdalena fairgrounds, the festivities will be held for the fifth consecutive year in Almirante Laulhé Park.
This week, a new contract for the rental of booth furniture has been put out to tender, with a budget amounting to 62,982.92 euros. Concurrently, the process for assembling the booth structures is underway, following an unsuccessful attempt to purchase them months ago, though a new attempt is planned after updating the figures.
The rental contract, without a purchase option, includes 1,800 wooden tables with folding chairs, 40 sets of high tables with their corresponding chairs, and 200 modules of two-meter plywood bars. Interested companies have until April 27 to submit their bids.
The Carmen and Sal Fair 2026 will take place in San Fernando from Tuesday, July 14, to Sunday, July 19.
