Under the slogan 'Saca tus colores' (Show your colors), the program organized by Lambda La Isla and the San Fernando City Council aims to promote diversity and inclusion through various cultural offerings.
This week's agenda is notable for its focus on cinema and audiovisuals. On Monday, the congress and exhibition center will host the screening of the comedy 'A una isla de ti', directed by Alexis Morante. On Thursday, the Púrpura Bar will be the venue for an LGBTQ+ film forum.
Friday marks the start of one of the key events of the island's Pride celebration: the Sanfer Short Pride Edition short film festival. The opening gala will be at 7:00 PM, followed by the commencement of filming for participating teams, who will have 48 hours to shoot in locations across San Fernando. This year introduces a new category for Generation Z, which will exclusively use mobile phones for filming.
On Saturday, the Púrpura Bar will host a pre-Pride party starting at noon, featuring performances by drag artists Victoria Exótica and Queen Lidia.
The week will conclude on Sunday at 8:30 PM in the congress center with the submission of the short films competing in the Sanfer Short Pride Edition. Activities are scheduled to continue until July 11 with further diverse proposals.
