This initiative is part of the Camarón Year, a series of tributes aimed at keeping alive the memory of one of flamenco's most influential artists. The collection, now available in selected stores and online, primarily features t-shirts, but also includes denim trousers, a jacket, and a special ring.
The collection moves between neutrals like white, ecru, and black, with warm accents that reinforce its emotional charge. The t-shirts incorporate photographs, graphics, and original calligraphy by Camarón, organically integrated as if they had always belonged to these garments.
For the launch of this clothing line, Pull&Bear chose San Fernando as the main setting, highlighting the sea and marshlands in the catalog images. This choice underscores the artist's connection to his birthplace, which also houses the Camarón Interpretation Center.
Additionally, the brand has released a promotional video featuring a version of the song Volando voy, performed by singer Amaia, and the flamenco footwork of La Flaca. In the video, models explore San Fernando wearing the garments, solidifying the collection's local identity.
The collaboration was made possible thanks to the support of La Chispa, the artist's widow, Kiko Veneno, the San Fernando City Council, and Universal Music. This project aims to introduce Camarón's figure to new generations and ensure his legacy endures.
