The program, promoted by the Unit for Feminisms and LGTBI+ for the second consecutive year, will run from July 1 to August 31. The initiative is funded by the Junta de Andalucía through the Corresponsables Plan 2025, supplemented by municipal funds.
The camp is aimed at boys and girls aged 3 to 16, and is extended to 21 for individuals with disabilities or functional diversity. In addition to supporting families during the summer holidays, it seeks to foster values such as equality, coexistence, and respect for diversity through educational, sports, and leisure activities.
Activities will take place from Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, at the educational centers CEIP Reggio and CEIP Río San Pedro. Families can register children for fortnightly periods or for the full duration.
Priority attention will be given to groups facing greater reconciliation challenges or in vulnerable situations, such as large families, single mothers, single parents, victims of gender-based violence, individuals with disabilities, asylum seekers, families at risk of social exclusion, and family units with dependents.
“"The councilor highlighted the importance of continuing to promote public resources that help families and contribute to building a more egalitarian society."
Registration will be open from June 15 to 19. Applications can be submitted via QR code or in person at the Unit for Feminisms and LGTBI+, located at the Social Services Center on calle Zambra. For more information, call 856 21 33 39.
