The publication, which will be presented by Pepe Gómez, compiles testimonies, articles, and interviews that delve into the values of memory, critical consciousness, solidarity, and the fight for freedom, fundamental principles in the author's career. This cultural event aims to keep his legacy alive.
In addition to the literary presentation, the event will include the inauguration of two photographic exhibitions. Gaspar Morales will showcase Walking Through Iceland, a series of black and white images capturing Nordic landscapes. Meanwhile, José Antonio Tomás will present Women Who Sustain Life, a color collection highlighting the essential role of women in society.
Both exhibitions will be open to the public from April 24 to May 3. Visiting hours will be from Tuesday to Friday, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, while on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, they will be open from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
The initiative has been jointly organized by the 'José Luis García Rúa' Library and the CNT-AIT Miscellaneous Trades Union of Puerto Real, who invite the community to participate in this day of culture and collective memory.
