The public company GEN (Grupo Energético de Puerto Real) has introduced the winter schedule for its Casines Recycling Point facilities, located at Avenida José López Fernández, number 2, within the Polígono de Casines, effective September 16th.
The Casines facilities will operate from Monday to Friday between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM, and from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. On Saturdays, the hours are reduced to the morning slot, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Additionally, the Río San Pedro Recycling Point, situated at Avenida República de Argentina s/n, next to the football field, maintains its service hours from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
GEN also highlights the availability of the Mobile Recycling Point, whose location changes weekly to bring selective waste collection services closer to different neighborhoods within the municipality. The purpose of these centers is to prevent environmental pollution and health risks from uncontrolled waste disposal, promoting efficient management and recycling.
Citizens can deposit a wide range of waste materials free of charge, including debris from domestic renovations, electronic appliances, large household items, furniture, and furnishings such as mattresses, chairs, tables, doors, or windows, as well as used cooking oils, vehicle oils, car batteries, lighting fixtures, and paints.
The existence of a free service for the collection of furniture and bulky items is also recalled.
