The Royal Hideaway Sessions concert series is back at the Royal Hideaway Sancti Petri hotel in Chiclana. The presentation included the mayor of Chiclana, José María Román, alongside council delegates Ana González and Manuela Pérez; the hotel's general director, Pablo Espiño; and representatives from Barbadillo Jazz Vejer, Nacho del Corral and Paco Muñoz.
The musical program will begin on July 10th with Hiromi’s Sonicwonder. It will continue on July 17th with Andrea Motis Dúo and Josep Traver. On August 8th, Zenet will perform, and the series will conclude on August 14th with Chano Domínguez and Antonio Lizana Quintet.
As a new feature, the Drunch Sessions are being revived, a gastronomic experience held before the concerts on the hotel's rooftop terrace, offering views of La Barrosa beach. These sessions will include appetizers prepared by Juanlu Fernández, a chef with two Michelin stars and gastronomic advisor for Chez Lumier, the hotel's restaurant.
José María Román highlighted the quality of the Royal Hideaway venue and how these sessions align with Chiclana's strategy for family tourism and nightlife, thereby enhancing the destination.
Pablo Espiño noted that this is the eleventh edition of the event, expressing gratitude for Jazz Vejer's collaboration and reaffirming Royal Hideaway Barceló's commitment to improving the destination and its cultural offerings.
Nacho del Corral emphasized the positive reception of the series and the quality of the lineup, mentioning Hiromi’s opening performance as a privilege and highlighting the presence of top national artists.
Nacho del Corral also shared attendance data, stating that 37.8 percent of the audience comes from Chiclana, a percentage that grows annually, indicating a strong connection with the local population.
