The event was attended by the Vice President of EMSISA, Francis Salado, and the Delegate for Communication, Fede Díaz, along with colleagues and family members of the honoree.
During the ceremony, the municipal company's insignia was presented. Mayor Román highlighted Santos's special dedication, noting his work in various municipal departments and his reach into Chiclana homes through radio, leaving a fond memory among colleagues and entertaining citizens with his music.
Ramón Santos expressed his gratitude for the support at this surprise event, recalling his time at Radio Chiclana, the Wine and Salt Center, the Museum of Chiclana, and the Box center. He emphasized his commitment to giving his best, sharing his music, and promoting it, particularly thanking Eva Verdugo for her support in the final stage and all his colleagues since 1990.
Ramón Santos began his career at EMSISA in July 1990 at Radio Chiclana, then located on La Vega street. He continued his work at the station after its relocation to the Box center in 2014. In 2015, he joined the Museum of Chiclana, and in November 2016, he became part of the staff at the Interpretation Center of Wine and Salt. Finally, in 2021, he took on the role of coordinator for the Box Youth Initiatives Center until his retirement.
