The festivities in honor of Nuestra Señora de los Remedios kick off strongly this Friday. At 8:30 PM, the social hall of the Peña de Costaleros Nazarena will host the omelette contest, followed at 9:00 PM by the Grape Harvest Festival in the Plaza Mayor.
Saturday will be marked by youth sports. From 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the facilities of Novo Sancti Petri will be the venue for the youth football tournament Virgen de los Remedios.
On Monday, September 7th, the eve of the feast day, the Iglesia de San Telmo will host a solemn mass at 8:00 PM, which will include the imposition of medals to new brothers. Later, at 9:45 PM, the traditional grape stomping will take place, accompanied by a performance by singer Yoana Jiménez.
On Tuesday the 8th, the Patron Saint's day, activities will begin early with the Rosary of the Aurora at 7:30 AM through the downtown streets, followed by Holy Mass at the Iglesia de San Telmo.
At 11:00 AM, the Solemn High Mass will be celebrated with a performance by the Agrupación Coral Nuestra Señora de los Remedios. An hour and a half later, a floral offering will be made before the Patron Saint's mosaic.
The day will conclude with the processional exit at 8:30 PM. The Patron Saint's image will parade through emblematic streets such as Nuestra Señora de los Remedios, La Plaza, Joaquín Santos, Constitución, Plaza de Jesús Nazareno, Larga, Padre Añeto, Corredera Alta, Plaza Patiño, Corredera Baja, Vega, Padre Caro, and will return to the Iglesia de San Telmo.
