The historic center of Chiclana is preparing to host the fourth edition of the Phoenician Night of Candles, an event that will transform the streets around the Cerro del Castillo with the light of more than 7,000 candles. The route will begin at Calle Rosa, home to the Phoenician interpretation center Nueva Gadeira, and conclude at the Plaza de España.
Visitors will be able to enjoy a stroll through the specially illuminated historic quarter, while various musical performances will liven up the evening at different points along the route. The delegate for Sustainable Tourism, Manuela Pérez, highlighted that this event is highly anticipated by the citizens and that this year the number of candles has been increased, which will decorate the area between the Arquillo del Reloj and the Plaza de España.
Pérez encouraged attendance, emphasizing that the initiative not only highlights this historic area of the city but will also contribute to boosting local commerce and hospitality.
“"We are talking about a highly anticipated event for all citizens, where we will tour the historic center of the city, next to the Cerro del Castillo."
“"I encourage all citizens to attend the event, which not only highlights this area of the center but will also boost the city's commerce and hospitality."
