The Hombres del Campo Carnival Association has organized the Carnival Night which will take place on July 31st, starting at 8:30 PM, at their headquarters located on Calle Iro. The event will feature performances by various carnival groups.
Scheduled performances include the cuarteto ‘Te lo cuento del revés’, the coro ‘La perla de Cádiz’, the chirigota ‘Las Peloteras’, and the comparsa ‘Las traviesas’, all from Chiclana. The chirigota ‘La chirigota de la Isla’ will come from San Fernando, and from El Puerto de Santa María, the comparsa ‘Los granujas’ and the cuarteto ‘Las vecinas de Doña Blanca’ will perform.
The municipal delegate for Festivals, Fede Díaz, highlighted that this is the second edition of the initiative, which was a success in its first year. He noted that the City Council works hand-in-hand with the associations to strengthen Carnival year-round, leading to a significant improvement in quality. He invited citizens to enjoy the young talent of Carnival on this special night.
For his part, Antonio Manzano ‘Capi’, representative of the Hombres del Campo Carnival Association, emphasized the increased number of groups in this year's lineup, describing it as "pure Carnival" and an opportunity to enjoy the emerging talent.
Mari Carmen Cobeña, representative of the Peña Tatachín de la Frontera, congratulated the associations for their dedication and effort, inviting the entire province to attend. She stressed that "the young talent is pushing hard, and the emerging groups are the true Carnival, it is pure." She also thanked the delegate for Festivals for his constant willingness and support.
