The countdown to the San Bartolomé Fair and Festivals has begun in Martos. Mayor Emilio Torres and Councilor for Festivals Ana Matilde Expósito have presented the official program, which will run from August 20th to 24th, although preliminary events started on August 7th.
The celebration will include nearly fifty recreational, sports, and cultural events, aiming for the participation of all residents. The goal is to offer activities for all ages, from the youngest to the elderly, who will have their traditional dinner at the Municipal Booth.

The mayor emphasized that the main focus was to attract children, youth, and seniors, considering the citizens of Martos as the true protagonists. He also thanked the efforts of the municipal staff and collaborating entities, wishing for a safe and successful fair, similar to the previous year.

The detailed program includes an inaugural parade on August 20th at eight in the evening, followed by the traditional fireworks display and the lighting ceremony. Evening concerts will feature performances by Haze, Pablo López, Camela, and Milenium.
For children, activities such as a foam party and 'toritos' (small bull figures) have been organized. The councilor also highlighted the importance of the violet point to ensure women's safety during the festivities, emphasizing that the fair unites an entire town.
