Solidarity will once again fill the Municipal Theater Maestro Álvarez Alonso in Martos on October 4th. The Martos council is organizing the VIII Charity Gala in support of ALES, the Association of Parents of Children with Cancer of Jaén. The event, starting at 6:30 PM, aims to raise essential funds for the association to continue its support work for children with cancer and their families.
Gema Lara, Councilor for Citizen Participation, highlighted the firm commitment of the City Council of Martos to local entities, especially those dedicated to causes as important as the fight against childhood cancer. Lara encouraged citizens to participate in this gala, emphasizing that the ticket price is symbolic and that all proceeds will go towards providing resources for ALES to assist families.
Under the title “The Rebirth of the Soul”, the gala will be directed by Manuel Jesús Puentes and will feature a varied program of performances. Participants include the local flamenco artist Fran Curé, 12 Palmas, Carmen Caire, and various dance acts.

Óscar Moriana, president of ALES, expressed his gratitude for the involvement of the City Council of Martos, the gala organizers, sponsors, and all collaborating entities. Moriana stressed the importance of these events for obtaining resources that allow the association to maintain its services. "Your life stops, and you have to keep living," he stated, explaining that ALES seeks to offer solutions tailored to the circumstances of each affected family.
