The councilors for Festivals, Ana Matilde Expósito, and Citizen Security, Juan Pérez, presented the assessment of the recent San Bartolomé Fair and Festivals, calling them "successful" and "safe." They highlighted the support for programmed activities, public attendance, and the lack of significant incidents, which fostered an atmosphere of coexistence and celebration.
Ana Matilde Expósito emphasized the positive reception of the proposals, both for the pre-fair events and the main days. "From the very beginning, the objective was to organize a fair for the enjoyment of the citizens, a fair in which we all participate, because everyone fits here. Our fair is inclusive, egalitarian, and diverse," she stated.
The children's activities were highlighted, including the playroom, the San Bartolomé bull run, and the foam party, which complemented the violet point, the municipal booth, the nursing room, and the daytime fair, which was enhanced in the latest edition. The concerts in the auditorium, featuring performances by Haze, Camela, and Pablo López, were also very well-received.
The Festivals councilor thanked all municipal departments and staff for their coordination and involvement, and announced that preparations are already underway for next year's fair to make it even better.
For his part, the Citizen Security councilor, Juan Pérez, reported the absence of significant incidents during the celebration, continuing the trend of safety at the Martos fair. He emphasized the work of Civil Protection, the firefighters of Martos, and the canine unit of the Local Police.
Pérez also thanked the citizens for their civility and the work of the equestrian clubs during the festivities.
