The initiative, recently presented at the Jaén City Council, aims to use sports as a vehicle for social coexistence, awareness, and emotional well-being. The tournament seeks to go beyond competition, becoming a meeting space that prioritizes values such as camaraderie and respect.
Throughout the day, in addition to the football matches, various recreational and sports activities will take place. The organizers emphasize that the event aims to combat the stigma associated with mental health, facilitating active participation and a sense of belonging for all attendees.
Municipal representatives and the Faisem organization highlighted the importance of making public infrastructure available for projects that, beyond sports, contribute to breaking down prejudices and strengthening the self-esteem of the participants.
