The operation, carried out by agents from the Investigation Area of the Main Post of Martos in collaboration with personnel from the Civil Guard Post in Jamilena, began after receiving information about possible continuous drug trafficking activity in a local residence.
Investigations allowed agents to detect a constant flow of people at the investigated property, which had caused concern among residents. This situation led to the confirmation of alleged criminal activity, culminating last Thursday, May 7, with the entry and search of the home.
During the intervention, a 48-year-old man, the property owner with a history of drug trafficking, and a 17-year-old minor, allegedly involved in the distribution of the narcotic substances, were arrested. The search yielded 3,700 grams of marijuana, 362 grams of hashish, 80 grams of cocaine, 500 grams of MDMA, and 127 grams of THC-infused gummies.
In addition to the drugs, agents found substances for cutting and manipulating drugs, precision scales, and nearly 6,000 euros in cash. Several airsoft weapons, various sized knives, mobile phones, and documentation relevant to the investigation were also discovered.
“"The operation has allowed for the dismantling of this alleged drug distribution point and prevented part of the seized substances from being distributed during the San Isidro Pilgrimage held last weekend in the town."
The compiled proceedings, along with the detainees and seized material, have been placed at the disposal of the competent judicial authority, which has ordered the provisional imprisonment of the main suspect.
