The Villa del Río City Council has announced its adherence to the concentration called by the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP). The event is being held due to the situation facing the Autonomous City of Ceuta.
The concentration will take place next Wednesday, September 2nd, at 8:00 PM in the Plaza de la Constitución in Villa del Río. The FEMP issued the call following a meeting between its president, María José García-Pelayo, and the president of the Autonomous City of Ceuta, Juan Vivas.
The objective of this initiative, which will take place simultaneously in town halls across Spain, is to convey to Ceuta the feelings and solidarity of citizens from all over the country. The FEMP aims for this Ceuta Day to be a symbol of unity, closeness, and institutional support for the autonomous city and its inhabitants.
The Villa del Río City Council extends an invitation to all citizens to participate in this concentration.
