The event, scheduled for Sunday, August 30, 2026, at 9:00 PM in the Gardens of the Pedro Bueno House Museum, promises a night dedicated to flamenco fashion, tailoring, design, and local talent. Admission is free until full capacity.
The runway will showcase creations from various workshops and designers. Participants include the Marina Vargas Workshop, presenting designs made by her students; Josefina Calzada's «PaFlamencosMisLunares» with her collection «Alegranza», inspired by the region's roots and divided into themes like pilgrimages, fairs, and equestrianism; and Leticia Moda y Complementos, offering flamenco accessories such as flowers, hairpins, and earrings.
Also featured will be Sergio Horcas's collection «Volaré», inspired by birds and their freedom, and «Sueño de una noche de verano» (A Midsummer Night's Dream) by Ángeles Ruiz with advice from Isabel Durán, focusing on personalized garment adaptation. A highlight will be the presentation of «Dolores», the new collection by Joaquín Serra, a tribute to his grandmother that reinterprets Andalusian folklore in haute couture.
Marina Vargas, with a career starting in 1999 and closely linked to Villa del Río since 2011, will display the variety of dresses created in her workshop. Josefina Calzada, currently furthering her studies in Seville, will present «Alegranza», a collection blending tradition and elegance. Sergio Horcas, who has shown at events like FIMAC Málaga, brings «Volaré», full of color and movement.
The evening, hosted by Pepi Mantas, will include a musical performance by Vero Moyano and participation from Blanca Parra. The fashion show is envisioned as a night to enjoy creativity and flamenco fashion, marking the approach of Villa del Río's 2026 Fair and Festivities.
