The event, featuring a seven-kilometer course, saw both athletes from the Club Trotasierra take the lead, drawing significant attention to their performance.
In the men's category, Jesús Alguacil finished the course in 24:36, ahead of his clubmate Pedro Catena, who came second with 24:59. Andrés Santiago of Indea secured third place with a time of 25:17.
The dominance of Club Trotasierra extended to the women's category, where Maribel López asserted authority, clocking in at 31:13. María del Pilar Gavilán from Club Indea took second place with 32:13, closely followed by Rafi Mengual in third with 32:17.
Following this race, the popular running calendar will take a short break before resuming on the first weekend of June with the Nocturna event organized by Trotacalles.
