This initiative focuses on improving the transport capacity of water resources and reducing losses in the existing infrastructure. The investment will be implemented through three key interventions aimed at optimizing water management in the region.
“"The works are part of the strategy for renovating provincial hydraulic infrastructures, with special attention in this case to the system linked to Martín Gonzalo. The objective is to reinforce a network that suffers from leakage problems and move towards a more efficient and sustainable management model."
The first phase of the project will be carried out in the Montoro branch, where a section of the network will be renewed with ductile iron pipes, from the main diversion to the municipal reservoirs. This action is crucial for strengthening a central point of the distribution system.
The second intervention will address the connection between Adamuz and Pedro Abad, involving the replacement of 1,107 linear meters of piping with ductile iron pipes. This improvement will directly benefit the supply in Pedro Abad, El Carpio, and Villafranca de Córdoba, municipalities closely linked to this branch.
Finally, the third action involves the installation of an aerial crossing over the Veredas stream. This technical solution is designed to ensure the proper flow of the watercourse and optimize water service in Bujalance and Cañete de las Torres. These works not only address technical needs but also aim to increase system reliability and reduce losses in a context where water management is increasingly strategic.
