Plan Infoca personnel have declared the forest fire, which ignited early Sunday morning in the Las Barreras area within the municipality of Órgiva, as stabilized.
Six groups of forest firefighters, an operations technician, three environmental agents, and three water trucks were mobilized for the extinction efforts.
The fire, which began around 4:10 AM, was complicated by high temperatures reaching 34 degrees Celsius. However, stabilization was achieved by 7:15 AM.
