Since 12:20 PM this Friday, the Andalusian fire extinction teams have been deployed in the area affected by the flames. The Infoca Plan has reported that efforts to control the fire are currently underway.
The deployed resources include two semi-heavy helicopters, seven specialist groups, two fire engines, and an operations technician. The 112 Emergency service of Andalusia received multiple calls reporting the fire, located according to the alerts at kilometer 84 of the A-348.
This incident marks the second forest fire recorded in Laujar de Andarax in recent weeks. Last July, another fire in the same town required the intervention of several Infoca Plan resources.
