The political party VOX has planned a significant gathering in Almería, returning to the same location as a previous event held two years ago. The purpose is to show support for the candidate for the presidency of the Junta de Andalucía and the provincial list for the Parliament of Andalucía.

This event, which is expected to draw a massive attendance, will take place on Saturday, April 25, starting at eight in the evening, preceding the official commencement of the electoral campaign, set for the night of May 1.

The party approaches the upcoming regional elections with the aspiration of becoming the second political force in Almería. In the general elections of 2019, the formation managed to surpass the Partido Popular in the province. However, in the last Andalusian elections in 2022, they were approximately 4,000 votes behind the socialists, in a contest where the Partido Popular secured a resounding victory.

Four years ago, the results in the Almerian constituency were 118,043 votes for the Partido Popular, which secured six parliamentarians; 57,220 for the PSOE, with three seats; and 53,718 for VOX, which also obtained three representatives. The Almerian list for VOX will again be headed by a prominent provincial leader, accompanied in the second position by a recent addition from another political formation, and the provincial president of the party will occupy the third spot.
