The incident occurred in a residence located on Plácido Domingo street in the Almería capital. The event began around 2:25 PM when an emergency call was received reporting a fire in the kitchen's extractor hood.
Those who raised the alarm managed to put out the flames, but the property filled with smoke. They urgently requested medical services to attend to a woman who had suffered burns to her arm.
Personnel from the 061 Emergency Center, Firefighters, the National Police, and the Local Police were dispatched to the scene. Medical services then evacuated the affected woman to Almería's main healthcare facility.
