The city of Almería became the epicenter of the Andalusian pre-campaign for the Popular Party this Saturday, under the slogan «With the strength of Almería, Juanma president». The event, held at the Maestro Padilla Auditorium, gathered numerous supporters who rallied behind the popular leader.
During his speech, Moreno focused on the significance of May 17 for the future of Andalucía, calling for stability. He warned that the lack of a solid majority could have negative consequences for the community, insisting on the need for a «free and independent» government.
“"If we don't have stability, we will pay a high price."
The president defended his executive's management, highlighting the reduction in unemployment and economic growth above the national average, as well as tax cuts. He advocated for a model based on «moderation, reform, and change».
He also acknowledged Almería's fundamental role as an agri-food engine, committing to continue supporting the agricultural sector and key water infrastructures. He also criticized the Central Government for its treatment and funding of Andalucía, regretting that this situation occurs with an Andalusian in the Government.
The provincial president of the PP and candidate for Almería, Ramón Fernández-Pacheco, highlighted the political change in Andalucía and its impact on the province, contrasting current management with that of previous socialist governments. Meanwhile, the general secretary of the PP in the capital and mayor of Almería, María del Mar Vázquez, emphasized the economic and social growth of the city thanks to the regional administration.
