The Almería Postureo establishment, located on Floridablanca Street in the heart of Almería, was the victim of the theft of several plants that adorned its facade. The incident, which occurred between 12:00 and 12:10 PM, was recorded by the premises' video surveillance system.
The recordings show a woman stopping in front of the office, waiting for pedestrians to pass, and then proceeding to take the potted plants one by one. Subsequently, the woman left the area walking along the sidewalk with the plants visible in her hands.
“"They didn't last even two months. Three days after planting them, some had already been stolen."
The business owner lamented that the plants, which had only been on the facade for a few weeks, had previously been subject to small cactus thefts. He emphasized that the potted plants added a touch of cheer and beautified the street.
Following the complaint filed by the establishment, the National Police managed to identify the woman thanks to the security footage. The business expressed gratitude for the swift police action and noted that its video surveillance system complies with data protection regulations.
