The alert was received at 00:59 hours, reporting that an individual had been struck by an electric shock on a tower situated on Camino del Marchal. The incident necessitated the deployment of numerous emergency services.
Personnel from the Poniente Consortium Firefighters, officers from the National Police, Local Police, and medical teams from the Andalusian Health Service (SAS) were dispatched to the scene. Firefighters used a ladder to reach the victim.
Paramedics confirmed the death at the location. The operation took place in an area near the border between Almería and Viator, which also involved the participation of the Local Police from the latter municipality.
The 112 Andalusia emergency service also notified the electricity company Endesa and mobilized Civil Protection personnel. The National Police has launched an investigation to determine the exact circumstances of this fatal incident.
