The second electoral update, with 99.91% of data reported, shows a 3.01 percentage point rise compared to the 2022 regional elections. By 2 PM, a total of 2,423,229 people had exercised their right to vote in Andalusia. In the 2022 elections, at the same time, participation stood at 34.24%, with 2,184,517 voters counted.
This election day reflects higher mobilization than four years ago across all Andalusian provinces. The increase in participation comes after the first update at 11:30 AM showed a slight drop compared to 2022.
The provinces of Almería and Huelva are leading the participation increase. Almería reached 36.80% (+4.57 percentage points compared to 2022), while Huelva registered 34.32% (+4.52 percentage points). They are followed by Granada (38.20%, +3.27 points), Seville (38.78%, +3.27 points), and Cádiz (34.44%, +3.28 points).
Meanwhile, Córdoba shows the highest participation percentage by 2 PM with 40.51%, compared to 38.92% in 2022 (+1.59 percentage points). Other provincial figures include Jaén at 39.24% (+1.36 points) and Málaga at 35.66% (+2.68 points).
The first official update, released at 11:30 AM, placed regional participation at 15.10%, with 983,638 voters. This figure initially indicated a 0.34 percentage point drop compared to 2022, a trend that has since reversed in the second update.
