The organization of the Almería Fair and events like Alfaralmería involve logistical adjustments that will affect residents. In the Oliveros-Mediterráneo neighborhood, a significant restriction on parking has been implemented on several main streets.
From the Tuesday of the Fair until the day after the procession of the Virgen del Mar, parking will be prohibited in the upward direction of Rambla Federico García Lorca and along Hermanos Machado street. Provisional signage from the Almería City Council warns of this measure.
The parking ban will be in effect from midnight on August 25th until noon on August 31st. The aim is to use this area as parking for the vans of participants in Alfaralmería, the traditional pottery exhibition.
This measure seeks to facilitate the logistics of the pottery fair, allowing artisans to keep their merchandise close and ensure the event's splendor. Consequently, residents of Oliveros-Mediterráneo will experience a temporary decrease in available parking spaces.
