The Almería-based academic institution has launched this solidarity initiative with the aim of alleviating the severe consequences that the seismic events have left on the Venezuelan population. Through its Support Program for Donation and Sponsorship Projects, known as UalUne, the university seeks to mobilize its community to channel aid.
The funds raised will be directed towards the work that the Red Cross is carrying out on the ground. The campaign responds to the urgent need for food, drinking water, shelter, and healthcare for thousands of families whose lives and livelihoods were devastated in a matter of seconds.
