The Infoca Plan has declared the fire contained after confirming that the perimeter remains consolidated and that there are no longer any fronts with free propagation capacity. This decision marks a turning point in an emergency that has resulted in twelve fatalities, eight injuries, and the scorching of approximately 7,000 hectares.
The fire has affected a perimeter of 42 kilometers. As a consequence of the stabilization, the thousand residents who had been evacuated from their homes can now return to their residences.
