The latest vessel was spotted this Wednesday around 6:35 AM on the Playa de los Muertos in Carboneras. Sources from 112 Andalucía alerted authorities to the boat's arrival.
The Guardia Civil confirmed the location of approximately a dozen occupants, who were taken to the Temporary Center for Foreigners in Almería (CATE) at the fishing port.
During Tuesday, the rapid response teams (ERIE) of the Red Cross assisted another 46 people, including four minors, who reached the Playa de los Cocones in Carboneras around 5:00 AM.
One of the individuals who disembarked on the beach had to be evacuated to the Torrecárdenas University Hospital of Almería due to a knee injury.
In the Poniente area, the landing of another boat with over 40 people was recorded. They managed to reach the shore on their own, near the Balerma campsite, close to Guardias Viejas.
Following the landing, which occurred in view of bathers and with the boat returning to sea, the Local Police of El Ejido and the Guardia Civil were notified. They organized the transfer of the migrants to the CATE after locating two of them nearby.
