The Local Energy Community (CEL) TODA Almería has announced the reopening of its registration period, inviting residents and businesses to join its innovative shared solar energy model. This initiative, already operational in several municipalities within the province, aims to expand its reach and facilitate access to clean, renewable, and local energy sources.
Currently, CEL TODA Almería includes the participation of municipalities such as Cuevas del Almanzora, Pulpí, Abrucena, Fondón, Las Tres Villas, and Padules. Energy is generated through photovoltaic installations located on buildings provided by the participating town councils, promoting a more sustainable and territorially-linked energy system.
One of the most significant new features of this call is the extension of the access radius up to five kilometers, allowing a greater number of residents and businesses to benefit from the energy generated. Participation in the project requires no construction, no initial investment, and no long-term commitment, simplifying the onboarding of new users.
With the goal of expanding its network, the energy community has launched the 'Promo Amigo' campaign. Through this initiative, current members can invite family or friends, receiving three months of free participation for each new member, up to a maximum of four invitations.
Being part of CEL TODA Almería provides access to 100% renewable energy, reduces dependence on electricity market fluctuations, and promotes a more stable and sustainable consumption model. Additionally, informational sessions will be held in the participating municipalities to address queries and guide interested individuals through the registration process.
For more information or to join the project, interested parties can contact CEL TODA Almería at the toll-free number 900 859 695, available Monday to Friday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, or visit the energy community's website.
