Following collaboration with the Provincial Council of Almería, the Association of Children with Cancer of Almería has joined forces with the City Council for a childhood cancer awareness campaign. The association's insignia, the golden ribbon, has been displayed at the Provincial Palace.
The Apollo Theatre is supporting this cause by exhibiting a large banner throughout September to publicize and raise awareness about this disease. Rosa María Onieva, the association's president, emphasizes the importance of helping affected children overcome their fear.

For their part, María del Mar Vázquez, head of the City Council, has praised the association's advisory and outreach work, acknowledging the devastating impact that a diagnosis of this nature has on families.
Several emblematic buildings in the city will join this cause, supporting an initiative that highlights the existence of hope in the fight against childhood cancer.
