The Avenida del Mediterráneo in Almería is now open to vehicle traffic as part of the construction plan to bury the train tracks in the Almerian capital. This reopening, which occurred on Wednesday, July 1st, restores normalcy to the main avenue.
As a result of the reopening, four urban bus lines (lines 3, 4, 11, and 12) are resuming their usual routes, the same ones they followed before the construction of the Avenida del Mediterráneo bridge. The Almería City Council has provided information regarding these route changes.
Traffic has been restored without significant incidents, while urbanization work continues on the new sidewalks of the avenue and adjacent streets.
