Almería has decided to change its approach to presenting its new season signings. Instead of the usual press conferences, the club will open the Estadio Mediterráneo to its fans this Friday. The event will serve as the official unveiling for the six new faces in the squad, who will officially debut in the league next Monday against Eldense.
Public access will begin at 8:00 PM, exclusively through the main stand entrance. The player presentations are scheduled for 8:30 PM. Among the new players are central defenders Jorge Pulido and Andrej Popovic, midfielders Mikel Vesga and Quim Junyent, and wingers Álex Sola and Brian Cipenga.
In addition to welcoming the footballers, the event will introduce Urci, the club's new mascot. This fox, replacing the lion Rozam, aims to bring a more local touch to the club's image. During the afternoon, the players will throw gifts to the fans present and sign autographs, seeking to start the season with strong 'rojiblanco' spirit and the crowd's support.
A small stage has been set up next to the dugouts, by the dressing room exit, where each of the new signings will be presented individually. The new mascot, Urci, will also have its moment before being present at the first league match against Eldense.
