An annual study by Esneca Business School, which analyzed 20,895 enrollments between 2021 and 2025, reveals Almería's unique training profile. The province shows a specialization index of 183 in Quality and Environment, 83% higher than the national average, a trend linked to the importance of agribusiness and sustainability in its economy.
The report also places Almería among the six Spanish provinces where Law is the subject with the highest absolute enrollments, surpassing Healthcare, which dominates in most of the country. Together with Málaga and Cádiz, it forms a distinct territorial bloc in the southern peninsula.
Nationally, Healthcare leads enrollments in 29 provinces. However, the southern peninsula shows an intense demand for legal studies. The Esneca Business School study cross-references enrollment data with demographic information from the INE to provide a snapshot of the training preferences of the adult population.
The results for Almería depict a dual trend: a clear orientation towards training in quality and environment, and a significant interest in the legal field, which significantly differentiates it from other Spanish provinces.
