Following the unanimous approval of the first phase, focused on modeling the transport system, the Almería council is now preparing the drafting of final proposals. This technical process aims to update the current network to adapt it to the real mobility needs of the public.
The initial study, carried out by an external consultancy, has provided a detailed diagnosis of traffic conditions and passenger demand in the city. This analysis has been supported by reports issued by municipal technicians.
Parallel to this reorganization process, the public transport service continues to operate under an exceptional 24-month extension. This measure ensures the continuity of the service while the details of the future tender to manage transport in the city are finalized.
