The incident occurred in the early hours of March 13. The three individuals gained entry to the premises after forcing the lock cylinder of the main door. Once inside, they ripped out the cash register, which had already been tampered with, and stole a total of 3,600 euros.
The business owners discovered the robbery upon starting their workday and reported the incident to the Civil Guard. The investigation was taken over by agents from the Investigation Area of the Maracena Civil Guard Post.
The inquiries included taking statements from potential witnesses and analyzing surveillance camera footage. These investigations allowed agents to determine that three people were involved in the robbery, with two entering the premises while a third remained outside performing surveillance duties.
Furthermore, agents confirmed that the alleged perpetrators had visited the establishment the afternoon before the robbery, with the aim of scouting the location prior to committing the crime. The investigation also led to the identification of the vehicle used in the getaway and the three individuals involved.
Once located, the civil guards proceeded to arrest the suspects, who were then placed at the disposal of the judicial authorities as alleged perpetrators of a forceful robbery.
