The municipality of Pinos Puente has launched an initiative to bolster the protection of healthcare staff through increased coordination with the Local Police. The project, named 'AlertSalud', aims to improve prevention and the efficiency of public services via communication and joint action tools.
This new proposal establishes an action protocol allowing health center staff to activate a silent, immediate alert directed to the Local Police. The goal is to reduce response times and facilitate a coordinated, discreet intervention when necessary, thus ensuring a safer working environment for healthcare professionals.
Beyond technology, 'AlertSalud' configures a permanent coordination model between both services. It includes a follow-up and evaluation procedure for each action to optimize the protocol and adapt it to the evolving needs of professionals, ensuring the quality of healthcare services received by residents.
The mayor of Pinos Puente, Iván Fernández, has highlighted the importance of inter-administrative collaboration for improving public services. "With this system, we take another step in supporting our healthcare professionals and strengthen institutional coordination to respond more effectively when needed," he stated.
The protocol is structured in four phases: prevention, alert, response, and evaluation. This approach not only allows for rapid action but also for the analysis of each intervention to introduce continuous improvements to the system. The initiative leverages the local knowledge of the Local Police and their coordination with other security forces.
By implementing 'AlertSalud', Pinos Puente strengthens collaboration between public services and prioritizes prevention to offer quality healthcare within a framework of trust and institutional coordination.
