This new space will facilitate access to the Municipal Sports Center and the Municipal School of Music, Dance, among other disciplines, while also offering a solution to residents' parking needs.
The parking lot offers more than 150 spaces for all types of vehicles and has been designed with various urbanistic and environmental improvements. These include rainwater channeling, the installation of drains, a permeable asphalt system, new lighting, tree-lined areas, and a vertical garden integrated into the retaining wall.
The City Council highlighted that this action is part of the municipal strategy to adapt public spaces to the real needs of the citizens and to foster better connectivity between the municipality's various facilities.
With this new infrastructure, the governing team has now completed five projects related to public parking since 2019. During this period, the creation, renovation, or expansion of Quevedo Parking, Parras Street Parking, Real Baja Parking, the expansion of the Municipal Pool parking, and now, the new Loma Linda Parking have been carried out.
