Monachil hosts the final gala of its youth short film contest
The competition, now in its tenth edition, recognizes the audiovisual creativity of young creators from the province.

The House of Culture in Monachil hosted the final gala of the tenth Youth Short Film Contest, an event celebrating emerging audiovisual talent.
The Jorge García Tudela auditorium at the Monachil House of Culture served as the venue for the closing ceremony of the tenth Youth Short Film Contest. Organized by the Youth Department of the Monachil City Council with support from the Youth Area of the Provincial Council of Granada, the competition has established itself as a key platform for fostering creativity and artistic expression among young people.
During the gala, the finalist works were screened and the winning short films were announced. The Audience Award went to the short film La tarde, while Después de ti received the award for Best Fantastic Short. The prize for Best Social Short was awarded to Siempre contigo. In the Educational Centers category, the jury recognized Esto debería estar vacío, and the award for Best National Short Film was given to Silencio blanco.
