This initiative is part of the 'Monachil compras mil' campaign, which the council started in 2020 with the aim of supporting local businesses and periodically boosting the commercial sector.
A municipal spokesperson explained that 15 gift vouchers of 50 euros will be drawn among customers who make purchases exceeding 20 euros in participating stores until May 3rd. Each purchase above this amount will entitle the customer to a ticket, which must then be deposited in the designated mailboxes at the Monachil Town Hall or the Casa de la Cultura.

The Commerce councilor has encouraged residents to participate in this new campaign, highlighting its importance for benefiting local commerce and promoting shopping at traditional town stores.
The period for making purchases and depositing tickets runs from April 20th to May 3rd. The gift voucher draw will take place on May 5th, and the winners will have until June 5th to redeem their prize.
