The intervention, which has a three-month completion schedule, is currently in its intermediate phase. According to the Cenes de la Vega City Council, the main objective is to complete the work within the initially planned timeframe.
The project addresses the need to stabilize the terrain following damage caused by the heavy rains recorded in February. Technical actions include the installation of micropiles, foundation work, and the construction of a retaining wall designed to ensure the safety of nearby homes and utility networks.
In addition to soil consolidation tasks, the work plan includes the complete renovation of the sidewalk and the final conditioning of the street surface to restore access with full safety guarantees for residents.
