The resolution of the Junta de Andalucía bases the denial on the lack of available credit in the budget items allocated for these aids, once the budget foreseen for the call has been exhausted, without evaluating the merits of the application or the suitability of the action presented by the Town Council.

The Fuente Vaqueros Town Council has expressed its "profound disagreement" with the Junta de Andalucía, which has denied a subsidy of over 31,000 euros intended to repair damages caused by the 2025 storms on the Camino del Polígono 8, citing insufficient credit.
The local administration of Fuente Vaqueros has accused the Junta de Andalucía of a "lack of sensitivity." This refers to the denial of financial aid requested to repair damage to municipal infrastructure, caused by the intense rains and floods recorded in 2025.
The application, submitted within the framework of the call for aid for the repair of damages derived from natural phenomena, contemplated an investment exceeding 31,000 euros. This amount was specifically allocated to improving the Camino del Polígono 8, a crucial road that suffered severe damage during adverse weather events, as detailed by the Town Council in a press release.
The Town Council has reiterated its "profound disagreement" with this decision, arguing that Fuente Vaqueros is a municipality that has suffered "real and accredited damages." The Consistory recalled that the devastation caused by the 2025 storms represented a significant economic burden for municipal coffers, necessitating rapid action to ensure the safety and proper functioning of public services.
