The Local Police of Albolote have arrested an individual who was caught in the act of forcing the lock of an electric scooter. The incident occurred a few days ago when officers were alerted by a resident who observed a man using bolt cutters to tamper with the security system of the personal mobility vehicle (PMV), which was secured with a steel cable.
Officers responded urgently and surprised the suspect still attempting to break the lock. The police intervention prevented the theft from being fully completed and the individual from taking the scooter.
In a social media post, the Local Police of Albolote highlighted the importance of citizen collaboration and encouraged the public to contact them in suspicious situations to help prevent crimes.
