The fire started around 14:10 in an area known as Camino del Cortijillo. The affected site is located within the municipality of Beas de Granada, near the borders with Granada and Huétor Santillán.
To assist in containment efforts, a significant aerial deployment has been mobilized, including four helicopters—one light, two medium-heavy, and one command unit—along with two ground-loading aircraft.
Meanwhile, the ground operation consists of 43 professionals, including three technicians, supported by a fire engine working on the ground to contain the spread of the flames.
