The exhibition, which can be visited in the Exhibition Hall of the Medina Elvira Cultural Center from May 4 to May 29, brings together 40 original tin toys from the early 20th century. These pieces are accompanied by tactile replicas and exhibition panels, allowing for full public interaction.
“"Each toy is not only contemplated, but also allows discovering stories, contexts, and emotions that connect generations."
A central element of the exhibition is a life-size replica of a tin car, a large-format piece that has become the emblem of the show. This vehicle is fully accessible and interactive, offering the public the opportunity to get in, interact with it, and understand its original operation, providing an immersive experience.
The Tin Magic exhibition stands out for its strong commitment to universal accessibility. It incorporates resources such as 3D replicas for tactile exploration, Braille content, and audio guides accessible via QR codes, thus facilitating a complete and inclusive experience for all people.
This project is promoted by Tifloactiva Innovación, a Granada-based company specializing in the development of accessible cultural experiences, and is supported by the Department of Culture of the Atarfe City Council. The installation at the Medina Elvira Cultural Center, a relevant and accessible space in the province of Granada, reinforces the commitment to bring culture closer to all citizens.
