The events unfolded after a call reported an individual tampering with parked cars in Armilla. Upon arrival, officers located the suspect next to a running motorcycle, manipulating several cars in a commercial establishment's parking lot.
Noticing the police presence, the man began a reckless escape through the municipality's streets. During the pursuit, which passed through several commercial areas of Armilla, the individual made dangerous overtakes, drove on sidewalks, lost his helmet, and nearly ran over a family, eventually falling from the motorcycle when its kickstand failed.
Following the arrest, officers confirmed that the motorcycle used in the escape had been stolen. Furthermore, various valuable items were found in the vehicle, allegedly linked to vehicle thefts that occurred in Granada city, other towns in the Metropolitan Area, and Armilla itself.
