The program, taking place in Albolote, is aimed at unemployed individuals, with preference given to those registered in the municipality. The 15 participants have been hired under a training-for-work contract lasting 12 months.
During this period, participants will obtain the Professional Certificate of Sociosanitary Care for Dependent Persons at Home. Thirty-five percent of their working hours will be dedicated to theoretical and practical training, while the remaining sixty-five percent will be spent working as home care assistants, receiving remuneration equivalent to 65% of the Minimum Interprofessional Wage (SMI).
The practical work will be coordinated by the program's technical staff in collaboration with the Community Social Services of the Albolote City Council. The assistants will provide home support to individuals in situations of dependency who are awaiting the resolution of their benefits, thereby improving their quality of life.
This initiative aims to combine training, professional experience, and community service, preparing participants for a profession with high labor demand and a strong social character. It is anticipated that upon completion of the program, all participants will be able to enter the job market thanks to their accumulated practical experience and the qualification obtained.
